Portfolio Value Lens

Track total portfolio value, investment capital, and income across customizable time periods.

Portfolio Value Lens Overview

The Portfolio Value Lens gives you a clear snapshot of your portfolio’s total value and how it changes over time. It displays key metrics such as Market Value, Total Liabilities, Net Value, and Net Investment, along with a historical chart that shows how portfolio value and income evolve across the selected time period.

The Value Tab

At the top, you’ll see key metrics:

Market Value represents the current market worth of the assets in the portfolio. It is calculated using market observations — data points that reflect the current value of the underlying holdings.

Total Liabilities shows the outstanding balances of liabilities  and  can be managed in the Liabilities Lens.

Net Value represents the portfolio’s net worth, calculated as Market Value minus Total Liabilities.

Net Investment represents the approximated net capital invested in the portfolio, calculated as Total Invested Capital minus all Realized Amounts. Net Investment changes based on transactions. Distributions and returns of capital reduce Net Investment and can cause it to become negative, while transactions such as buys, capital calls, and transfers in increase it.

If you don't see Net Investment you can turn it on  by request.

The Income Tab

Income displays income generated by the portfolio across the selected period. Hover over each bar to see the income breakdown for that time period.
