K-1 Tracker Lens

All your K-1 tax documents in one place.

K-1's are a normal part of running an office, and many patrons have dozens of K-1s to track each year. The K-1 lens lets you organize all your K-1s and keep track of who has submitted their documents, who is outstanding, as well as several key values and pieces of data that are valuable for your accountants and stakeholders.

Making an Asset K-1 Eligible

lens-k1-eligableFor an asset to show up in the K-1 lens, it has to first be marked as K-1 eligible. You do this in the back office by going to the asset details screen and scrolling down to the K-1 Tax Entry toggle.

Lens Overview

lens-k1-year-and-listK-1s are organized by year. When you switch between years you'll get a list of all available assets that are K-1 eligible. Note that we list the specific holdings, when the K-1 was received, and if any are outstanding.

K-1 Details

lens-k1-details-viewWe use machine learning to extract data from uploaded K-1 documents. You can manually override any values using the documents view in the back office, and once you're happy with the data, you can publish the documents. Published documents will propagate to the K-1 lens and can be found here, in the details view.

K-1 Totals

lens-k1-all-k1sFor each year, we total up all the values across all the K-1s. Here you'll find summaries and totals across all the major sections of the K-1.
