Enhance your meta data with Tags
Asset Tags are a great way to organize assets into groupings. Assets can be tagged with anything but they usually have tags corresponding to the type of asset, what sort of value it provides or the location of the asset. Below, we will guide you through on how to create and view Asset Tags in both the Back Office and Front Office.
Back Office
To add a tag, simply click on the "Manage Tags" button at the asset level and enter the desired tags. In this example, Alibaba has been tagged with both #china and #tech. This is extremely helpful for users as it allows for efficient organization for a large number of assets.
In the Back Office you can also view each tag and the respective Assets that are attached to it. Simply go to the Assets tab and click the Asset Tags screen which will populate a list of Asset Tags. 
In the screen shown above, you can simply click on each Asset Tag to conveniently access a list of the corresponding Assets. It is important to note, that tags cannot be created within this screen. Instead, tags need to be created for each individual Asset either in the Back Office or in the Front Office.
Front Office
In order to access and mange Access Tags in the front office, click on Assets in the main menu navigation then switch to the Tags screen from Asset Classes.
You have the ability to view the tags based on Market Value and Net Investment in one location. Additionally, the Manage Tags feature allows you to easily Add, Edit, and Delete Tags for efficient organization of your assets as seen below.
